Where it began... after London.
It all started 30 years ago, Mike and Millie were great friends at drama school in London. Little did they know their mutual love of Pilates would bring their worlds together all these years later. After one trial ‘holiday’ in June 2019, Mike introduced Millie to Rudolf and the delights of Sicily and the deal was set….the journey started.
Mike's Sicilian adventure started about 7 years ago when he moved from London with his partner to a piece of land in the heart of Sicily's citrus farming region. Wanting a change to the pace and rhythm of city life the antithesis was perfect. His introduction to Baron Rudolf Von Freyberg and the wonderful villa came when he was asked to teach pilates to the villas guests. Rudolf became a client and ultimately a firm friend. There was a natural affinity between Mike and Millie's ideology, the farms organic credentials and Rudolf's farming philosophies that Aranjaya Wellness was born.
